WHAT IS A MUSE GROUP?

A Muse Group is a creatively run twelve week class or three hour workshop based on the book The Nine Modern Day Muses (and a Bodyguard): 10 Guides to Creative Inspiration for Artists, Poets, Lovers and Other Mortals Wanting to Live a Dazzling Existence. Muse Groups create a group setting to help individuals to:

Break through creative blocks and discover new ways to express their singular uniqueness
Learn to see themselves in a new creative light
Remember who they authentically are
Develop strategies to utilize strengths most effectively
Create focus and momentum for their creative endeavors
Celebrate the ability to create, laugh and see life with ever-new joy
Reveal obstacles so that something can be done
Maximize the potential of each creative individual
Help individuals find a more satisfying ways to view their lives and work
Create a forum for people to meet, bond with and be supported by like-minded people
Experience a setting whose very nature and approach inspires creative brilliance

Eligibility to attend this training:

This training program is a program available to qualified individuals who have experience running groups or have a passion and higher desire to learn how.

Coaches, Therapists, Practitioners, Expressive Therapists, those with experience running groups are some people who would benefit from augmenting their practice with this training. If you have never run groups, coached or counseled please feel free to discuss with me how you may feel about pursuing this path if your intuition is still making it known that this may be right for you.

Receiving correspondence materials to prepare you for the 3 day intensive
1 onsite 3 day intensive to begin the training (approximately 24 hours)
4 weekly one hour tele-seminars with all participants using a phone bridge line to discuss your pilot group sessions (7 hours)
Comprehensive manual including tools, handouts and strategies
2 personal coaching sessions with the instructor for follow-up or creativity coaching
Free teleconferencing support groups for muse trainers monthly
On-going e-mail support to insure success in program logistics and in general
